On Call Central acquires Professional Voice Messaging

Professional Voice Messaging, Inc. has been acquired by On Call Central. On Call Central is fully automated, shares many similarities with the Cadusys system, and includes a bunch of modern conveniences.

Professional Voice Messaging was founded 32 years ago by Dr Jerry Dempsey out of a personal understanding of the communications needs of physicians. After serving many of the same medical practices throughout the country for decades, Jerry will be retiring and transitioning the business to the team at On Call Central. Dr Dempsey has taken the transition with extreme care and responsibility, and sought an owner who could carry on the standards that have made Professional Voice Messaging  successful. Cadusys customer’s service with On Call Central will continue at the same rate as their service with Cadusys. 

The transition from Professional Voice Messaging to On Call Central started in July 2020 and will be finished by December 1st 2020.

Medical Answering Service by On Call Central

On Call Central has been an industry leader in the medical answering service space since 2009, handling 4 Million calls annually for doctor’s offices in all 50 states.

In addition to handling both urgent and non-urgent calls, On Call Central offers other benefits, including web-based call schedule management, message transcription, apps for iOS and Android, SMS-based alerts when patients leave messages, and permanent storage of patient messages and return calls. They also offer encrypted chat, and soon will be launching a telemedicine product.
