On Call Central’s technology significantly improves call documentation while helping your practice meet its HIPAA obligations. Our security measures include:
- Data encryption
- All data on the On Call Central website is encrypted using industry standard 256-bit SSL technology. Data is automatically backed up nightly to three separate locations, and call recordings are automatically sent to an offsite backup facility for long term archiving.
- Managed Servers
- Our servers are housed in the AtlantaNAP, one of the most robust data centers in the United States. The data center has biometric access controls, backup power generators, a fire suppression system and 24/7 monitoring.
- RAID Technology
- The On Call Central servers use RAID technology that mirrors all data on multiple hard drives. In the event of a drive failure, RAID technology helps ensure that On Call Central continues to operate as normal.
- Multiple Backups
- On Call Central’s has multiple levels of data backup. In addition to on-site backup in our Atlanta, core On Call Central data is backed up to Fremont, California, and to our offices in Lexington, Kentucky.
