Today the engineering team at On Call Central released one of the most frequently-requested features: automated transcription. Video demo below.

As of today, all messages left using either the On Call Central paging module or email module will have automated transcripts. These transcripts will be available in both the web application and mobile application. If you are using the mobile app, simply force quit the app, then reauthenticate to have the updated automatically delivered over the air.

Over time, we believe automated transcription can combine with other technologies to help detect important events and trends in your organization. If you have any questions about this feature, or suggestions as to how it can be improved, please let us know.
